1. **Attend in Congregation**: Gather with other Muslims in a mosque or open space.

2. **Perform Two Units (Rak’ahs)**: Begin with the intention (niyyah) for Eid prayer.

3. **Recite Takbir**: Start with the opening Takbir (Allahu Akbar) and then recite it seven times in the first rak’ah and five times in the second rak’ah, before the recitation of Quranic verses.

4. **Complete the Prayer**: Recite Surah Al-Fatiha and another Surah, perform the bowing (ruku) and prostration (sujood) as usual.

5. **Listen to the Khutbah**: After the prayer, listen to the Eid sermon (khutbah), which is typically delivered by the imam.

This ritual is performed on Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
