Surah Al-Fatiha should be recited in every unit (rak’ah) of the Muslim prayer (Salah) after saying “Bismillah” and before reciting other verses. It should be recited clearly and with reflection, starting with “In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful” and continuing through the entire Surah, which praises Allah, seeks His guidance, and acknowledges His sovereignty.
