In Islam, no single person is deemed “king” of the religion. Instead, Muslims are united by faith in Allah and follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as recorded in the Quran and Sunnah. Historically, some Muslim rulers, such as caliphs, sultans, and kings, governed Muslim lands, but they were considered political leaders rather than spiritual heads of Islam. The focus in Islam is on submission to Allah, with no central earthly authority representing the religion as a whole.
