If a person is traveling and cannot find a mosque, they can still perform the congregational prayer (Salat al-Jama’ah) with others in their travel group, even if it’s not in a mosque. The key is to maintain the principles of congregational prayer:

1. **Leader (Imam)**: One person from the group should lead the prayer. This person is referred to as the “imam.”

2. **Followers (Muqtadi)**: The others in the group should stand behind the imam in rows, just as they would in a mosque.

In the absence of a mosque, the prayer can be performed in any clean, suitable place (e.g., a hotel room, outdoor area, or even a rest stop), as long as the conditions for prayer (such as cleanliness, facing the qiblah, and proper clothing) are met.

If there are no other people to pray with, the traveler can perform the prayer individually (Salah al-Fard). If there are others, the traveler may still perform the congregational prayer with them, following the same procedure. It’s also worth noting that if the traveler is in a situation where no congregation is possible, they should perform their prayers on time and can combine prayers if necessary due to travel-related difficulties.
