If a Muslim is unable to fulfill a religious obligation due to a valid reason such as illness, travel, or any other unavoidable circumstance, they can perform what is called “Qada.” Qada refers to making up for missed religious duties when the person is able to do so. It is important for the individual to sincerely intend to make up for the missed obligation as soon as they are able to. This practice allows Muslims to fulfill their religious duties even if they were unable to do so at the originally prescribed time.
