If a Muslim is in a business partnership where their partner proposes a venture involving practices contrary to Islamic ethics, such as dealing in interest (riba) or gambling (maysir), they should:
1. Address the issue directly: Politely explain to their partner that such practices are prohibited in Islam.
2. Refuse to participate: Decline involvement in any aspect of the venture that involves haram activities.
3. Suggest alternatives: Propose lawful (halal) ways to structure the business or find ethical alternatives.
4. End the partnership if necessary: If the partner insists on continuing with unethical practices, the Muslim should consider ending the partnership to protect their religious in
tegrity.
