Salat al-Tawbah (Prayer of Repentance):

 

_Purpose:_ Seek forgiveness and guidance.

 

_Conditions:_

 

1. Sincerity and remorse

2. Intention to repent

3. Perform after committing sin

 

_Procedure:_

 

1. Perform Wudu (ablution)

2. Pray two rak’ahs (units)

3. Recite Quranic verses on forgiveness

4. Supplicate (Du’a) for forgiveness

 

_Recitations:_

 

1. Al-Fatihah

2. Quranic verses (e.g., 1:1-7, 42:1-5)

3. Tasbih (Subhanallah)

4. Takbir (Allahu Akbar)

 

_Du’a:_

 

1. “Allahumma ighfir li” (Forgive me, O Allah)

2. “Rabbighfir li” (My Lord, forgive me)

 

_Islamic principles:_

 

1. Tawbah (repentance)

2. Istighfar (seeking forgiveness)

3. Taqwa (piety)

 

_Quranic references:’
